@pumpkinhill What we understand: This is bad. What we don't understand fully: EXACTLY how much it will affect us. Say what you want, but you probably haven't lived with censored internet. Most of us don't know what its like! We need to know exactly how bad it will be, so we will just make just a bit more effort, because unless the US gets 50 more representatives against this stuff, it will pass (PIPA) in the senate. We need to motivate the people making the decisions just a bit towards what the people want, instead of what the businesses want

@the20percent So what do you wish me to do past those emails and whatnot that I've already done? I understand full well how inconvenient and terrible the outcome will be, but my voice can only do so much past what I've already done. Having no internet access at all for a week was more than annoying enough, but I managed. That's not the point though and the thing is that I understand how inconvenienced it would be and how privileged we are right now to have it.

@cabal I'm at ~35 miles from the capital of the country, but still, the need for technicians is somewhat high. Decreasing a little, yes, but still a problem that comes with cloud computing and internet, is that there's abundance of information. That means virtually anyone could find a guide to fix most problems, but it means too that lots of wrong or "troll" to call it like that, information is available too. And only people with a certain degree of knowledge is able to distinguish a legit guide from something written by someone misinformed or trolling, so there will be an increase of the demand for that reason, people ruining their computers when following internet information.

@cabal Certainly the fact that most try to avoid sites like 4chan is true, but lots of forums and places like yahoo answers, that most users check are full of guys who think they know what they're typing, but don't have a real knowledge over the matter.

Things I did in 2011: Held a brony convention with 300 people at it. Got interviewed by the Wall Street Journal. Made lots of ponies happy (and saved one of them from the streets). That last sentence is the most important.

@purpletinker hey there, I sent you an email a few days ago but either you have been busy or it didn't get through. So just to be sure, have some copypasta: I was planning on entering the AppleII programming contest for the upcoming BronyCon. However, I have some questions: - Which emulator are you using? Any special settings? - Will the winner be announced during the con? - Will the game be shown live 'on stage'? - If so, what are the chances that someone is filming this and uploading it somwhere? @purpletinker That's not exactly was I meant... as in any problem due to different views on a point, at least I believe, and it has worked marvels for me, that ambigous talking is the best course of action, for anyone can understand what they want while not necesarily banning something nor lying.
