On the one hand I hate seeing how many people of historical importance were avid racists, but at the same time I like to think that if someone travelled back in time to tell them that they were wrong they'd say "oh, okay!" and change their ways, unlike racists today who have no excuse not to be awful awful people

@baglesman Yeah, it's pretty awful that there are so many restrictions on something that's designed (or at least should be designed) to help people achieve whatever they want in life. To have to deal with all that stuff before you're even two decades old is pretty bananaed up, and in a lot of cases I don't feel like it'd even be worth it. like I'd wanna do something in the vast spectrum of creative arts where if anything it's a little ironic having people say "do what you want, except not like that, and also do it in three months to this criteria"
