@spots Well, if you consider that textbooks cost an arm and a leg, let's assume each textbook averages $80. Since legs and arms are equally important, this puts the cost of each at $40. Jerry paid $10 which is 0.25 limb, and Jimmy paid $12 which is 0.3 limb. But where did they get this money if they have none of their own? Why, they asked their friend Sarah of course. Sarah has no money either, but she does have a dog with legs to spare. Let's assume she originally had a fully healthy dog with four complete legs, this is 4 limb. In other to get the $22 she had to exchange 0.55 leg for equivalent value. However, the place of exchange charged a 10% tax, so she actually had to exchange 0.55/0.9 = 0.6111 (rounded) leg. Therefore her dog has 3.3889 legs.

The others watched on with hopeful expression. A single tear could be seen in Ellie's eye as she turned away slightly, to avoid being noticed. The night was so beautiful, and Will's love was so genuine, how could one's eyes stay dry.
"Will, I..." Ross was speechless. He stared down at William. Will's eyes were narrowed, staring lovingly at Ross. His lips were arched in a slight smile, which was not normal for the Abkhaz. "I don't know what to say..."
"Just say yes. Marry me, share your life with me. One lifetime, that's all I ask."
"But... Will.... my heart belongs to someone else." Will's heart sank. He could not believe what he was hearing. Ross' words devastated him like a hurricane crashing against unfunded levees.
"Ross..." -
"Metal..." Ellie whispered. She watched solemnly as Metal walked away, tears welling in her eyes. "I... I loved you." Ellie turned away, and she ran.
"Ellie no!" Metal shouted, as Ellie slipped and fell off a cliff. Metal ran down to her side. She was dead. "Ellie, the one I loved... it was you all along." Then Metal took the champagne bottle and threw it against the wall. A beautiful diamond ring came out.
