@acceleratinguniverse it went well. ill got in early litened to giggle at the ghosties on a loop for about 15 mins. only my girlfriend came we walked we talked and i told her My Little Pony Friendship is Magic was an awesome show. She totally took it seriously she didn't luahuagh or make any remarks. so i pulled up the 1st episode on my phone and we watched it together on a park bench. Much thanks to Delc17 and the rest of RDN for telling me to tell someone.

@chaosmagic I've been converting a lot of close minded friends of mine lately. I have a sure fire way to get them to watch the show willingly (and that’s step 1 to conversation). What you do is bring up something about intolerance (Something not pony related). Spark a discussion about how you don't understand how people can be so close minded and intolerant about something they have not experienced and don't know anything about. Discuss that until you are both agree that ppl who automatically judge something they have not experienced are less intelligent or something.... That’s when you bring up ponies, at that point they either have to give ponies a try willingly or become a hypocrite. And that’s how I get ppl to watch ponies :D

@zarkanorf I've found that the energy you tell people with is directly proportional to the amount of respect or crap you get in return. If you mutter under your breath "I like this show called My Little Pony," you're gonna get made fun of, but if you're like me and just RIP YOUR FREAKING RAINBOW DASH OUT OF YOUR POCKET, SLAM IT DOWN ON YOUR DESK, AND SCREAM "HEY EVERYPONY, GUESS WHAT I BOUGHT OVER THE WEEKEND!" then everypony is going to love you for it.

@abigpony It may not last forever, this is true, but ponies have been around since 1980. It's only the recent line that converted like 99% of us. It's lasted over 30 years. kids grew up and because adults who still cherish their childhood ponies. Who's to say that we wont keep fluttershy, applejack, rainbow dash, rarity, twilight sparkle, pinkie pie, luna, celestia, derpy, doctor whooves, and all the rest in our hearts for the rest of our lives? We are the one who made the fandom big. And when the show goes off the air for good (hopefully not till season 8 or something like that), we will have left a very long legacy. Tons of pmv's, music, fanfics, pics, OC's, and more. We've met tons of friends, made new relationships, and become better and nicer people (99% of us most likely). It's gonna be something I will always look back on fondly and carry till my dying day, and when I lay in that casket, I will have the core 6 with me. That's what MLP means to me, and to many others.

OH, I had such an AWESOME day. I went to my friend's place today and I've been trying to get him into MLP with minimal success. He will sometimes say FOREVER and he likes eurobeat art of the dress, and he's seen 3 eps. So today, after lunch, we went to toys r us and i went to the pony aisle and he told me that he almost felt like picking up a pony. I was happy to hear that. Later on during the day, we went to big lots, but no pocket ponies :( But as we went to walmart, he told me that fluttershy was his favorite. We had to pick someone up and give them a ride and we stopped off at a different toys r us. While I was there, I was looking at the ponies and noticed this one had all 6, and a few neat items, but i had most of them. And a woman and her 2 kids come in and start looking at the ponies. Her young daughter couldn't tell which one was which, so I brought down all 6 and told her the names and descriptions and the girl picked up Pinkie Pie. That was an awesome moment.

@colfax I love you. I don't know you, I don't know anything about you, but I love you. Do you know why? Becaude you're a member of this community, this Brony community. And if you can take stock in a show tht preaches friendship and harmony and make that a major part of your life, you've definitely got something to live for. You musn't be so fatalistic.

@madflavors Yeah, that is a nice feeling. KNowing you're part of a unique community where people really dont trash each other, language is kept to a minimum, you have lots of friends, and all talk is fun and cute and sweet and innocent, with some more adult tones at times, which makes it fun. There is nothing better or more open than the pony community and i challenge anyone to find otherwise

I got a program to take a picture of every single frame of every single episode and now I have a little over 200GBs of pony images. Whaaaaat.

@loak Check this, I dropped the playlist on him and half an hour later I get "okay I watched that first episode and that was a lot different than I expected." on AIM, about an hour after that I give him a poke and get "busy watching mlp, lemme alone" as a reply... yeah, he's one of us.

So when you see a young filly with their wings or their magics, then you gotta give a filly their props" best i could do. Was hard thinking up the 2nd part. if anyone has a better line, I'd love to hear it
