@starshine I am mildly obsessed with them. I'd love to be a cartographer, but don't have the skills and my obsession with accuracy and perfection would mean that I'd never get anything done (I have drawn a few fantasy world maps before...)
-
@starshine Just sayin', it only takes 4 hrs to drive E-W across the state. So when we're discussing dividing the state up into tidy little quadrants, Cleveland is very much in the north-central part of the northeast quadrant, whereas Sandusky straddles the line between northeast and northwest, causing a feedback loop that will destroy the universe.
-
@starshine Also of note, Youngstown is also an hour and a half away from Cleveland [TheMoreYouKnow(tm)]
-
@starshine An hour and a half away is "right next to"? Are we in TX? (I'll give you Lorain, which is halfway between Cleveland and Sandusky and yet part of the Cleveland metro area... then things turn rural for that second half...)

@starshine GEMA is an awful institution. There was a phase where the employees had an order to peak into the houses and appartements to see wether they have a Television or not. There is a very strong hate against GEMA in Germany.

@starshine It's also $360K a year. I cannot imagine paying that much money for the privilege of reading misspelled spamvertising and pictures of people's lunch.
-
@starshine Trying to actually observe that timeline would probably make your brain collapse from all the stupidity and or spam anyway.
-
@starshine Twitter has a public timeline. It's called the "Firehose". It's only available to (paying) devs though.
-
@starshine !calgarybronies Oh yeah, I guess all posts are public. This site still confuses me. I only have this group page open so I tend to post only to that. But that's just the social recluse in me talking. Hard enough to follow just this page, let alone eeeeeverything else out there!
-
!calgarybronies @starshine I still have no idea how this site works, so I just refresh this page every once in a while. Like, how is it that when I post something without a group tag someone I've never met responds in like a second? It's creeping me out.
-
@starshine Your mindmap is quite skewed... Directly north of Cbus would be more like Sandusky. Cleveland-Akron-Canton-Youngstown region is NE (and Ashtabula up there in the corner thinkin' it's part of PA).
-
@starshine Not green hair!
-
@starshine yes.
-
@starshine ?

@starshine <3 goood boy

@starshine Going to school in Cleveland, I was just curious. The counties they listed were all about right, a few stretching towards the center of the state, but none of the ones that bordered the lake were listed. Just seemed a bit unusual.
-
@starshine wait, whoa, what? are you a NEEEEEERD?
-
@starshine lets get hammered bro
-
@starshine The counties listed in the NE Ohio group are also a bit odd. Northeast, but they don't include Cleveland?
-
@starshine I get the feeling that SoCal's more "classic" lol
-
@starshine it seems to have popped up recently, like, this year, all my metal head friends went from hardcore to "HURR DURR DRUGZ ARE BAD HURR HxC ALL DA WAY! WU-TANG CLAN!" its annoying as hell.
-
@starshine the LA guys made a group without realizing the so cal group existed. it was part of the meet up add on.
-
@starshine Same here. I joined for about a week and got more dashes than I knew what to do with.
-
