@starshine THE PLAN IS SLOWLY BEGINNING TO UNFOLD, BWAWAWAWAWAHAHAHAHHAHA. I mean. Wat.
-
@starshine @kingcarcinopony STAAAAARSHIIIIIINE! As for why I don't lurk moar, I've been swamped with forum replies on Canterlot as of late lol
-
@starshine those where the days, days when I was quiet. Ahhhhh
-
@starshine Uuuuu. It bothers me that I do it occasionally over here, though >.>'
-
@starshine I just want to add this as a final note to that conversation, I can't resist and it does fit. http://b1t.it/v7o

@starshine I'm not being whiny, I don't like them and have my reasons, and as a result haven't bought them. Just how is that whiny? It's just my opinion on the toys.
-
@starshine I wasn't sure if you had! But you posted it before so I thought maybe it was yours.
-
@starshine It still proves my point of how much more expensive the toys are here, which makes me want them even less.
-
@starshine I've seen it, and I say this as usual, the McDonald's toys look better than the retail ones, and aren't even a FRACTION of the price.
-
@starshine For the record, the "sticker vector things" are called tampographs.
-
@thelastgherkin @starshine Pink Celestia is £14.97 (so pretty much 15 quid) here, not what I would consider cheap given how poor she is, and Twilight + Balloon is 18 quid. (19.67 to be exact) If this currency converter is trustworthy that makes Pink Celestia $24.37 and Twilight with Balloon $30.39.
-
@starshine Yep. It happens with all Hasbro toys. They see the American price and then change the $ to a £, which is why I've been paying twice as much for all my Transformers as you would for the past few years.
-
@starshine They're not $5. They're more like $8.054858.
-
@starshine Oh yeah.
-
@starshine They're expensive for their quality, at least where I am. So no, I don't feel I'm being ridiuclous. I don't want to buy them and won't. I'd rather have no FiM merchandise at all than bring the stuff in that picture home.
-
@starshine I have a gold fish brain tonight, and don't get the joke/why ya used that clip.
-
@starshine They're embarassing, if I want to come home to my family with FiM toys to embrace my fandom, I don't want them to look like chinese knock offs (which with how off they are to FiM they may as well be)
-
@starshine This is why I totes love RDN. I will totally do that, tank you! :D
-
@starshine On the subject of #brushiebrushie: I'm going to have to find a really tiny curling wand if I want my Pinkie Pie looking presentable.
-
@starshine Hm, the proportions looked really off to me, and Celestia wasn't even the right COLOUR for crying out loud. http://twitpic.com/64zg53
-
@starshine Well, that's good for a coherent collection layout. Have three ponies facing left and three facing right. Lovely, and even!
-
@starshine The toys are pretty much a fail in general. I saw some in Tesco's the other day, my reaction "I am dissapoint."
-
@starshine Hm, good point.
-
@starshine *slap*
-
@starshine How can we be sure the one with two isn't the errenous one though?
-
@starshine Apart from when that isn't true. http://ur1.ca/4wzfy
-
@starshine Really? I must have missed those scenes (or rather the specific detail in them) which ones off the top of your head show them on both sides?
