@iw según sé la mayoría de nodos permiten hasta 1000 carácteres, tiene grupos, tiene complemento para wordpress, permite la suscripción a blogs, es la semilla de #mastodon... Es un poco más rústica la interfaz (solo una columna, no las muchas de #mastodon)... Para gustos distintos jeje (los clientes para pc funcionales y muy básicos son #yaics y #choqok, para móvil #andstatus). No sé en qué fase irá el desarrollo de #gnusocial

sometimes i wonder if there is a hidden list of "do not federate" #mastodon sites/users. But then I just decide, teh software is as batcave as all the other software.

you know, it doesn't matter if we use #pleroma or #gnusocial or #friendica or #mastodon etc. (are there more we can connect with?). the important thing is that we can communicate with each other. therefore we should rejoice over every additional server that springs into life, no matter what software it runs. whenever the media hypes something that is part of the #fediverse, it's good for all of us. but maybe we need a new name for the whole thing? I feel like "fediverse" doesn't cut it.

Damit alle, die #neuhier sind auch mal etwas in ihrem Stream zu sehen bekommen, ist hier mal eine Übersicht über "offizielle" Präsenzen von Institutionen, Bloggern usw. im #fediverse. Das soll jetzt mal keine Liste mit gespiegelten Newsfeeds sein, sondern wirklich aktive Konten.

@lightweight @xurizaemon BTW it's a shame #Mastodon does such a bad job of reconstructing cross-platform threads (as do most fediverse apps)

@guizzy @lain I'm really pretty tired of this "Pleroma/GNU Social/SomethingElse is Nazi software/space" bullbatcave.
I had a StatusNet account until Evan killed identi.ca years ago; a cherry-ton of great people I talk with here every day have accounts on Pleroma or GNU Social. Some are their developers.
#Mastodon benefited handsomely from there being a large community of dedicated people in Fediverse before Mastodon was a thing. Let's acknowledge that and stop being so condescending.

- respond something like this to .well-known/webfinger (I know that webfinger is involved but I don't know a thing about it)
- in the user page, include this, that
- here's how to publish users profile
- here's how to declare endpoints to receive activityStream message
- etc(just trying here to guess things people need to implement to federate)

@xrevan86 Thank you for checking! Looking _now_ at my home timeline on the Loadaverage web, I also do see notes, which I counted as missed and which I still don't have in #AndStatus on both my devices. I didn't do screenshots, so this needs to be re-checked... But maybe the problem occurs, when notes are arrived from #Mastodon out of some presumed order?
From my side I will check if that concrete "lost" notes cannot be loaded to AndStatus client for some reason...

@xrevan86 I checked subscribed noted that I received from mastodon.social via Loadaverage during the last day. And I see that some of sent notes were lost for unknown reason. I don't see several posts (not only the latest) neither in #AndStatus nor in a web interface of Loadaverage.
This looks like unreliable or broken synchronization protocol between Loadaverage and #Mastodon... ?! -
