@mushi I'm in second year of college right now, just I don't care about what I'm learning. I feel like the 'learning part' can come from the internet or books if I felt about it. The qualifications, they don't even lead to the job I would want to do. All I'm doing it for is family, friends and keeping up with them just cause getting a degree is what people do...

Can't be stuffed with university and ambivalent about getting a menial, trivial or immoral job. What to do...anyone ever face this problem? I would take time off and travel the world and discover myself...but I don't have money and I doubt I'd be able to go back to doing actual work after that...

@fluttershycanhardlyfly Oh, I had this problem! My solution was to drop out of university, be unemployed for years and succumb to depression.

@toksyuryel lol Yes! probably! Love me Cheerilee! Thanks for the info, that's quite a big accent mistake. You know I might be just totally wrong about my understanding of the situation. @abigpony Nope, I'm saying that A) You're not an ****, but might seem like one because you doing think in terms of social norms (lower social intelligence relative to vampix), and conversely you think vampix is getting upset over something trivial because you analysis of other people's feelings disregards some subtlety's (presumably because you focus on the concrete, objective). If you notice, you just said 'his music is really bad', then continued to reinforce why he is so bad. To me, as someone who is socially sensitive, like vampi, but only thinks in 'meta', because I have to, that offends me because I respect Wooden Toaster. You have provided a concrete reason why he deserves less credit than I've given, but I still think he's great for providing something really awesome to the community.

@fluttershycanhardlyfly Tombstone's music occupies a weird place for me. With a few exceptions I don't really like it, however covers and remixes of it are among some of my top favorites.

OMG I just realised, maybe Livingtombstone has an account here. I'm off to go find that guy! If anyone hasn't seen his pony music on youtube it's fan-f-en-tastic. I assumed pony fan videos would be lame but it's not at all. Somehow reminds me of italo-disco (is he Italian? accent = awesome) mixed with modern electronic stuff probably dubstep. Animations = too cute

Wow that was longer than it needed to be. I'm just fleshing out the ideas and making up words for things that I don't know the actual academic words for yet. I have the scholarly papers which I have to start reading. But...later. Haha. As anyone may have noted metaanalytical intelligence, social intelligence (that's another thing, bad choice of words sorry) are made up.

@abigpony Haha, I don't think any really does. But you understood it at a level of metaanalysis (holy celestia) above what most people will use cause it's convenient. Knowing this stuff intuitively could be called social intelligence (the higher the more likely to use it, like vampixxy), and unfortunately, it doesn't tend to go hand in hand with meta-analytical intelligence, which is what has taken you to a higher level of thinking. Neither is more 'smart' or 'correct', but meta-analysts tend to find it hard to talk to lower level thinking people, and social analysts tend to see everyone's analytical assumptions. So, to anyone at a lower level, they will see you from one dimension less. We're all just trying to figure it out. A lot of people seem to think they know what they are doing but it wouldn't be a dangerous idea at all to suggest a lot of the world's wars and negotiation break downs come from this sort of stuff...interestingly enough...it's what I hope to do a phD in one day!

@abigpony I think Vampix is feeling like it. You sound fairly assertive in your posts but again, like you said it's just about how we're interpreting it - so I guess we're both sorry. It's just about how the internet blurs emotions and stuff because we can't express things emotively without resorting to little smiley faces and stuff, haha.
