@minti I always hate missing out on stuff, because I wasn't there for the moment when everyone else seen it...
-
@minti they do until someone deletes them.
-
wow... I didn't know this was such a hot topic... I always figured that If you didn't want it being shared you wouldn't put it in the "Public Timeline" I will have to rethink this "project"
-
@bitshift @widget @redenchilada you know... due to the mixed results on this topic... (and potential popularity) I might Just host off of Google, or Amazon... ... I have had fun with "booting" and I fear it is not fun to be on the receiving end...

@minti AH HA I got it! I might just keep the notices anonymous
-
@pony there currently not ...
-
@minti DAM! you bringing up ethical concerns... I do want to at least make a way to prune ones containing "sensitive" and "destructive" info...
-
@derps see I love not missing things like that...

@widget I was just going to use my a404.org but rainbowdash.co would be far cooler or a domain name.
-
@widget I even plan to have a "Popular removed notices" to start, it will most likely be at home on the 40x5 but after testing, and if it gets popular (IE more than me and a select few) I will move it to better hosting. my friend has already OKed the use of his spare domain rainbowdash.co
-
@widget *then it flags removed notices as removed.

@widget still working that out... basically it will take notices, and store them as they happen in a lovely SQL database... Than every so often it will check back, and look for changes in what it has recorded, and what is there. then it flags the notice as removed.
-
@redenchilada "and whining that got removed for rule breaking." that's the best part... you spend hours looking through them spam bots for that one "Gem" and its like a good soap without the 80's feel
-
@nlghtmaremoon Humm... has a sort of ring to it.
-
@redenchilada I figured... but having the css files will help when I make the "deleted notice repository" Repository!!!! (Name pending)
-
@redenchilada Oh, saved... I was hoping that would float on by... now to combine with the statusnet "stuff" and commence "Tinkering"
-
@nixter but you can't be terrible at everything... if you are, that makes you good at being terrible at everything. and then you are not terrible at everything.
-
@redenchilada @minti On 2nd thought, that did not come out right...

@scribus the second one I picked up on E-bay, for $400 w/ free shipping... (I think it cost the guy that much to ship it) and he defiantly didn't know what he had.
-

@scribus I must warn you... IBM doesn't make a lite computer... It weighs in at a solid 75LB before drives... http://ur1.ca/a3004
