It's really odd seeing an umlaut in English writing, as in, not for a foreign nameplace either. Example: reënactment. Such a word used to be hyphenated, or still is. I've only seen The New Yorker publication use that diacritic.

@schwarzen The whole "At Folsom Prison" album is great. Also his cover of "Hurt" might just be the saddest thing I've ever heard, especially when coupled with the music video.

@schwarzen Yeah, I love Nine Inch Nails but Cash's version of Hurt is just something else. He gave the song an entirely new context and it's goddamn haunting. That video brings me to tears every time I watch it.
