@communistprime lol, I don't know why that didn't hit me- I see what you mean. That's good to know he's never bit you. I'm gonna make it my goal to ask everybody I know who has a snake (which is nobody other than you atm xD) if their pet ever bit them, so hopefully I can be more comfortable with a pet snake. For some reason I always think they'll bite me, as adorable as they are. I think it's because they don't really show emotion like our fuzzy friends.

@tara They don't show emotion, but snakes are generally really chill. I've caught wild fox snakes and other species and generally, after you've caught them and are holding them, they don't mind so long as you're not causing pain. Some snakes are worse than others though, like black racers (I've heard they're a bit bitey, but they're not normally pets either).

So today I got a letter in the mail from a friend. That letter was sent in August, 2011, while I was in Afghanistan. That letter traveled from Afghanistan to Alaska, then back to and around Afghanistan, then back to Alaska and finally my home. Almost a year since it was sent.
