  19. @cameramagic They do ship outside the US, though, I'm not sure the extent. You have 2 options on that hand. You can order them online or you can hope they come to you and keep alert to the stores around you.

  26. @cameramagic not velvet.. I meant satin stitch

  27. @cameramagic also, um.. what was i gonna add.. uh.. oh yeah! I like to fold the thread I use during the velvet stitch in half before threading it doubled through my needle, and then I place the eye of the needle in the center of the doubled thread. Then when I stitch I use 4 threads per stitch instead of 1, and it makes the embroidery much more full and go much more quickly.

  28. @cameramagic it takes practice if you want to embroider the eyes and CM as many do. I'm still learning myself. I like to use bit of black and white felt for the whites and pupils then embroider the highlights and irises. If you do this it may be easier to cut the felt and sew the eye together using the white as the base before sewing the eye on. If you leave a little extra space on top of the eye you can stitch it easily in place then cover that stitch using the eyelash embroidery to fully secure the top. For the bottom of the eye you can just use a back stitch or you may like another embroidery stitch. I prefer the satin stitch. http://goo.gl/XNFhu For the cutie mark you can do the same thing, either using felt and stitching around or embroidering the whole thing. Some use paint or craft plastic eyes and glue them on. I think I saw at least one guide for painting eyes and marks onto fabric with certain kind of paint, etc., then stitching them on.
