I didn't cry when I watched Titanic, American Tail, Toy Story 3, UP or Wall-e. I didn't cry when I finished Redwall, the Harry Potter books or Lord Of The Rings. I didn't cry when I found my favourite fish floating dead in his bowl. I didn't cry when I saw my cat being taken away to be put to sleep. I didn't cry when I found out my grandpa was dead. I just finally got around to watching a reading of My Little Dashie..........the amount of tears I cried are probably more than all the tears I have ever cried in my life beforehand, put together. The reader was positively weeping as he read, he broke down and had to stop about 5 times. And I was crying in perfect time to him.

@cherrysundae @purplephish20 The fic is entitled "My Little Dashie". I confess, I didn't actualy read it myself, I just listened to this reading. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tESDlYTkzsI&feature=related Part 1 isn't too bad, you might be teary-eyed by how heartwarming and cute it is. But part 2 is when it really hits you. And the reader himself too. Like I said, throughout part 2, he breaks down crying about 5 times. Anyway, enjoy your catharsis!

I have successfully completed the amalgamation of social life and pony life. I have just attained the "If you don't like the fact that I am obsessed with ponies, then deal with it!" attitude. Luckily virtually everybody I know just asked: "If your that obsessed, I have to see it." Now I have 20+ friends who are bronies. The sweet taste of success...

@cloudstriker I am in a similar state of mind. But I canno say that my friends share my sentiments. 2 of my friends were pretty much instantly hooked, one was reluctant, but is now a full-blown brony, about 2 or 3 have watched it and have not been converted, but do not hate it, and 2 are no longer my friends. Still, I have hung in groups of 50 bronies or mor, so that more than makes up for it.

@rotation !londonbronies meet was amazing, if not disorganised. Discord would be proud. I got to host things at the beginning, then we raided Hamleys for Pony toys, then we split up and the group I was in watched the latest episode.

@rotation I'm not sure. The only email I got between signing up for the site and the meetup was a fortnight before it happened. I would be surprised if they don't send an email with the details once everything is planned, but just incase you may just want to check the site every so often.
