    !movies - "Captain America" was surprisingly enjoyable. Not a cheesy propaganda flick, and they kept Cap's idealism and Boy Scoutishness quite reasonable.

      @scribus That's all because he was written as Captain America the Marvel character in the Marvel Movie universe, supervised by Marvel. It could not have been a more faithful adaption.

        @rollout Well, some of the Marvel books have had interesting writers. Civil War had him as a bit of a hardass, and of course during WW2 he was propaganda.
