    1. @retl tip for studying: If you use chrome, add the stayfocusd extension. If you use firefox, add the leechblock add-on. If you use internet explorer, then add a program called freedom, it kills your web connection for a preset time. If you use Safari, then...why man, why?

      1. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Can I recommend a tool called "RescueTime" here? It'll block the connection on a systemwide level, but only for sites that it determines are a distraction based on a profile you give it of what you're suposed to be doing.

        1. @ceruleanspark Awesome. I have a powerpoint due tomorrow and a test on Friday, so I'll install this as soon as I get home.

          1. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony It comes in both free and paid flavours, so make sure you don't fall for the upsell if you don't want it.

      2. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Sounds like a spiffy idea for the things I distract myself with that require a browser, yeah. Thanks! :3

        1. @retl Also look into RescueTime, which @cerulanspark told me about while you were gone.
