    I'll admit, half the time I actually imagine !clop being a kind of playing sort of things younger lovebird ponies do to eachother. Like they pounce them, pin their mate down, and then keep tapping their hooves against the ground on each side of the pony they're on top of to make the sound in a rhythmic fashion without actually doing much else to the playmate.
