  1. Hey... I'm Fluttershy. I saw this site and made an account. I hope you don't mind...

    1. @ponydude2143 It's something to do with COPPA requirements and needing to keep children safe from "inappropriate content" so it's got to be real-time all the time.

    2. @ponydude2143 I don't see the problem in censoring posts. I mean does anyone really WANT to see curse words... what I mean is, are you looking forward to seeing them in posts? If not why does anyone care if they are gone? It seems to me like there are reasons to censor cursing, but no REAL reasons not to, beyond "I don't want my stuff censored"

    3. @ponydude2143 It's not hard... I could do. But seriously no one would want to give me mod powers for unrelated reasons haha

    4. @ponydude2143 That will only censor stuff for the person that downloads the plugin

      1. @starlightbolt The plugin would run on the server. It's how stuff like oStatus works. You write the plugin in PHP and it changes how statusnet actually processes the post. In this case, the idea would be that before commiting the posts to the DB, it'd sweep them for profanity and replace it with asterisks.

    5. @ponydude2143 Yeah I guess that would work... I demand mod status for my hard work then.
