               @jinroh Pinkie Pie's parents are rock farmers, remember? She literally grew up on a farm. If ANYBODY knows how to deal with parasprites, it seems like a farmer would be the one with that sort of information. (Though I guess that doesn't really explain how Applejack didn't know...)
