One of the main things I really hate about having my hair cut is when the hairdresser talks to me like she knew me, they obviously do this all the time so stirring up conversations with total strangers is a second nature to them, but I'm not too crazy about it, especially when they ask me a question on a subject I'm totally clueless about.

@leonkfox My hair dresser /does/ know me. He even remembers stuff I tell him about my life and what we talked about last time I got a haircut.

@ceruleanspark Mine is a regular one that always does it, but we barley know each other, she does seem to remember me when I come in, but that's about as far as it goes.

@leonkfox I remember telling him I was getting a haircut for a job interview, then next time I went in, even though it had been months, he asked how the interview had gone. Stuff like that.

@ceruleanspark heh, nice. What sorts of topics does he ask you questions about though? It varies with mine, but I remember having to feign interest in order to not play the silent act and come off as rude, can't remember what these subjects were as it's been quite a while, but yeah.
