  1. So last night, my computer was sending out quite the heavy electronicy o-zone smell, but all temps were reading normal and everything was working fine. Went to dinner, came back, computer was off and won't turn back on, just flashes the lights once when I hit the power button and does nothing. Ahm sad. ;_; Then, our internet has been deciding to cut out for a few minutes at a time relatively frequently. WHY SO TECH PROBLEMS, HOUSE?! -_-;;

    1. @rpb3000 Maybe the power source, they don't usually have a temp sensor.

      1. @nerthos Yeah, I have a sneaky suspicion it's the power supply. I recently added a third hard drive and a much more powerful graphics card; perhaps it was too much for it. Seems odd it'd just poof at idle though... it's a rather good brand, too. *shrug*

        1. @rpb3000 Yes, I had this same problem and it was the power supply. T_T

        2. @rpb3000 Ok, then it's probably the power supply. For three HDDs and a potent GPU, you need at least an 800W ower supply.

        3. @rpb3000 @jinny Yeah, my power supply died just last week. Took out something on the motherboard with it. We just got the new computer in Tuesday, and I got to help (watch) assemble it Wednesday, cuz it was custom-build. We improved from a half-terra hard drive to a 2-terrabyte, upgraded our video card even more, and quadrupled our RAM from 2 gig to 8 gig.

          1. @lightningcrash I'm jelly of your RAM. I still only have 2 gigs. It was good for when I built the system :p

            1. @rpb3000 Lol. The system should be done installing everything today. We slaved the old hard drive to the new one while we transfered all the files over. Hopefully I can give it a quick test run when I get home.

    2. @rpb3000 Sorry to hear that, dude. :/ Hope you get it working again soon.
