    1. @leonkfox You seem to spend every waking moment at your grandmas...

      1. @purplephish20 Only a few days a week, and I like seeing her. Make the most of the time I have with her ,she's 84 and well...yeah...I'd rather not talk about that too much ,but yeah.

        1. @leonkfox Im in pretty much the same position, one grandma, 74, fit as a fiddle, walks everywhere and bowls every other day. Got another 20 years in her maybe. My other grandma... Same age, lives down in cornwall, my mum only just reunited with her after over 20 years, quite frankly... Shes dying, cardio vascular. And she cant move anywhere. Simply put i need to see her while i can. As horrifying as that sounds

          1. @purplephish20 My nan is quite frail, she can walk, but not very far and she seems to be in pain quite often. :( When my grandad died nearly 3 years ago in November 08 it settled in the reality that my grand parents wouldn't live forever. I logically knew they wouldn't, but my sub concious didn't really acknowledge it until that happened.

              1. @macpony55 I never knew my great grand parents, I think they were dead before I was born.

                1. @leonkfox mine always paid really close attention to their health so they lived a while, I think my great grandfather was 90 and my great grandmother was 96

    2. @metal Never in my life have i ever had a family member or a friend die... Anypony been through this??? How do you take it? For lack of a better question

      1. @purplephish20 the best way to take it is just to spend as much time with the family and friends, don't separate yourself from everypony else, that only makes it harder to deal with. and if you feel like crying then just cry, it's better to just get it out

            1. @macpony55 :kleenex on standby: but its a beautiful story, and no... The ending is brilliant... Far from "and then they all died, the end"
