      @cb That was better than I thought the synopsis made it sound. Liked the old intro better, though.

      @cb I enjoyed it - it's certainly a different approach from season 1 though. They seem to be trying to get as many characters on screen during an episode as they can. I'll see if they keep that up.

        @haganbmj # (minor) Yea, the some of background characters seemed to get way more attention. Mayor Mare, Big Mac, and Derpy of course, all put in decent roles. Like seeing more of them, but I wouldn't want to lose the season 1 feel too much.

          @eaglehooves Yeah, it just felt as if they were trying to hit as many characters as possible in the 22 minutes or however long they have. All of the Mane 6 (some with individual scenes), Cutie Mark Crusaders, Big Mac, Derpy, Mayor Mare, Background Characters, Celestia, etc.

            @haganbmj I don't think there was really an issue with that, they needed extras, so they turned to ones we already knew. Overall I loved it, I just worry at times they'll stray from what made the first season awesome. But then again, I worried 'Return of Harmony' wasn't going to be as good as S1, then this, so worrying doesn't have a great track record...

              @eaglehooves Nah, it just feels different. It's not a bad thing at all. Season 1 just felt more intimate thus far is all. You really got to focus on a character or two per episode, and got to appreciate them. This one was just crazy-and-insane-Twilight and her interactions with everyone else.

                @haganbmj Yea, that's about how I feel about it too. It's different, but still the same awesome cast and good plots, which really is what counts.

      @abigpony Insane Twilight, RUINING THE EPISODE? Gurl, she WAS the episode!! Also, S2 jokes seem to go for a more Animaniacs approach (or that's how I felt).

      @abigpony No no, what I mean is that they didn't need to feature as many characters as they did personally to get the point across. It worked fine - it's just a different approach that I feel would have happened in season 1.
