Just noticed something; the new magic auras being used in the show match the colour of the character's cutie mark. Twilight has the magenta of the central star, Rarity's is blue like her gems, and Celestia's Yellow matches the middle of her sun

@tenmihara yap. funny thing was when i first watched the episode i felt that something was different but couldn't put my finger on it until someone said they were dif color.

@redtie I think it's interesting. Twilight has on several occasions noted that Magic is a part of who you are. Cutie Marks are a ponies ultimate representation of who they are inside, so correlating the colours of them makes a lot of sense

@tenmihara it could also be a useful visual indicator. like if one pony is offscreen but uses her magic to do something on screen.
