    !calgary I've decided to try and make my own repaint Luna from the giftset Celestia. So far I am both pleased and disappointed. She looks awesome but the paint has a tendency to flake. Any pointers on how to prevent flaking on the ponies? WIP picture can be found on my tumbler (same username )

      @lonehowler ! Calgary are ypu useing a bacecoat or a primer? Are you letting the paint dry before doing another layer? What kind of paint are you useing? All of my paint is from games workshop. Only other brand id use is citadel paints. But with citadel paints you will need to do alot of mixing due to them having mostly neutral colors. Also be spareing with the ammount you use. My firstcoat is often very watery so it can get into the corners and edges easy. It also allows for detail to pop out.

      @lonehowler !Calgary. Well it could be a few reasons. Are you useing a primer? do you know if you are useing a quality paint? Are you being too generous with your paint?
