@flaxx Win7. I hate the MSN version for this OS, it's more like facebook than MSN. The contacts are sorted in columns, you can't use a nickname, it has social networks integration... apples for the 15 years old dumb girl.

@flaxx IDK, I installed it yesterday from the main page, and it's awful. So i'll simply restort to something I know will work. New versions will not work on XP, so as long as I use MSN on XP, the problems should be fixed.

@nerthos Oh. Well, mine kinda looks like that if I use it in fullscreen, but I usually have it in a really thin window, so it's just one list of contacts for me.

@nerthos When I click my name, you know, right below your avatar, there is an option to change your name. At least for me there is.

@flaxx Oh, I forgot, MSN plus tries to store my chat logs online instead of HTMLs in the disk. Why would I allow that?

@flaxx I store chat logs since 2008. If you enable that option, it asks for a MyPlus account to save things online.

@nerthos I guess that's true. I've never been in a situation where I'd need to go back and read old conversations, though, so I think I'll keep not saving them. Strange stuff goes on there, and I'd rather let my memory keep track of it.

@nerthos Okay, I just looked it up, and I have that option turned off. It does let me choose where on my computer I want to save the history if I tell MSN to save it, though.

@flaxx I managed to fix most of my problems with 7, disabling things and focing the OS to work as I want to. But programs can't be fixed D:

@nerthos Yeah, there are a few functions you want to get rid of as soon as possible, but after a while it works just fine. And yes, that's true. It's weird, though, because my MSN isn't at all like you describe it.
