          @lightningcrash It's real hard, I think, 'cause we is hardwired killing machines designed for the savannah, which is a totally cutthroat environment. All that programming coiled around the root of human intention is almost impossible to ignore or circumvent.

            @patch I'm pretty sure that if people actually tried, they could control such instincts; we are a species that has such capabilities. But it's all put to waste. P.S. I'm just raging at a lot of things right now. Just trying to focus and reign it under my control.

              @lightningcrash Nothing wrong with that. A person angered by nothing is scarcely different from a drifting blob of protoplasm, and the aeons of evolutionary struggle that resulted in the production of mankind are come to naught in such an individual.
