@fallinwinter You're in Hawaii, right? Since it's right at the equator, it's always hot. You'd probably love it if you visited a place with snow. :3

@pinhooves Some people like the fact that it's always generally warm compared to most places. Some people go surfing and stuff even near and on Christmas. I however prefer the cold. As my old Social Studies teacher used to say, "There are more ways to stay warm while cold than there are ways to stay cool while hot."

@fallinwinter Oh my Luna, I totally agree with you there. I can dress up as warmly as I can when I'm cold, and it feel so nice. I miss Hawaii. You're on the island Oahu, right?

@pinhooves I admit that I'm pretty bad a remembering place names. Waikiki is practically the tourist center though. (I think) I live somewhat far from there though. It takes maybe 30 minutes to get there.

@pinhooves To tell you the truth, I have no clue. I'm really bad with place names. I normally know/describe places like, "You know that place near McDonald's with the big sign that sells phones?" Sorry. '(-.-)

@fallinwinter In other words I have no clue about much around the island. I don't get around much and stay close to home. It mostly depends on what stuff I pick up from others and don't.

@fallinwinter Oh, it's not a problem at all! Are you sure you haven't seen Diamond Head? It's a pretty large mountain/volcano!

@pinhooves Yeah, I know what it is, but with all the mountains and stuff around I don't know which one it is. Also where I live is kind of forested in the sense that they put a lot of trees up so it's a bit hard to see too far out.

@pinhooves Not really. Our area isn't near actual forest or anything. It's just that there's a lot of grass and stuff and they put trees up in the areas near the houses and stuff that aren't sidewalks/roads. It's a bit hard to explain.

@pinhooves No problem. Granted the only wildlife that isn't ocean based we would normally see (island-wide) are owls which are somewhat rare, wild boar (also rare depending on where you are), toads, poison dart frogs, mongoose, cane spiders, centipedes, etc.

@pinhooves I'll be honest, the centipedes are worse than spiders. Cane spiders are big and hairy, but they're super weak. You can tap one with a newspaper and they could die.

@pinhooves Eh, now that I think about it Cockroaches are the biggest offenders around here. They show up often and are just generally annoying. Not that I imagine it's much different than on the mainland.

@pinhooves You don't want to. There moderately disgusting and they are pretty much everywhere. Some of them can fly too. Those ones are worse.
