          1. @patch Thanks for that link xD I'm not very versed in the english language, but with spanish I'm a dictionary xD The best part of it, is arguing with idiots, and how they rage when you use proper and complex ways to speak.

            1. @nerthos Your English is better than many native speakers, which, given how craaazy this language is, is an accomplishment.

              1. @patch It is? Great :D I learned the language for myself mostly. At school, the level of english they teach is for 3-year olds. At the last year of ESB, 17 years if you started at six with the first grade as it should be, they're teaching "will" and "would".

                1. @nerthos you also have to learn english by videogaming?

                  1. @mushi Videogaming, watching movies, reading books... When I started with real literature, the first two books I had to read with a dictionary at my side. I learned like 30 words, at least, with the first two.

                    1. @nerthos ,y reading is broken, a lot of brazilians only know english because of games, but now that we're having some games in portuguese, i foresee a new generation that cant say a word in english

                      1. @mushi Yes, obviously. Do you know how hard is it for me to find games in English, instead of translated?

Thursday, 15-Dec-11 11:43:49 UTC from web
                        1. @nerthos no, all the games here are in english or japanese. Back than, in psx time, we had games in spanish and people qho didnt know english (like me XD) used to play in spanish because of the similar words.

                          1. @mushi Yes, when games start being translated, knowledge of foreing languages drops. I started learning english when playing games like Gunmetal (1998, robot shooting game), but I like to play games in their original language, or with subtitles when I can't understand it xD The problem to find games in portuguese is because few countries speak it. Most games are released in japanese, english, or multi5 (english, spanish, italian, french and german)

                            1. @nerthos yes, only a few games are in portugues and there is even less games in brazil portuguese and that portugal's sounds very weird and ugly. E even started studying japanese, but we missed the registration period of the second semester lol.

                              1. @mushi Yup, Brazilian portuguese differs greatly from European portuguese. It's like with Argentinian spanish and Spanish spanish.

                                    1. @nerthos yep. Its fun how people think "jumping gecko" is an offence they'd be trauatized if they hear what Vegeta says here heheheh

    2. @nlghtmaremoon Practicity, mostly, at least for the last one. Planes are faster than ships. As for the first two, bad choices when naming them.
