@tenmihara two new ponies im guessing? for season three, or two?
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:01:48 UTC from web-
@problemedpony Rumor presently slates them as being involved in S2 finale. Cadence is notably an alicorn and is called Princess =O
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:02:20 UTC from web-
@tenmihara and the stallion?
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:03:16 UTC from web-
@problemedpony Shining Armor; possibly an elite royal guard. And dead sexy to boot XD
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:05:18 UTC from web-
@tenmihara Cadence has that sort of "you foolish" stare

@tenmihara @problemedpony One of the comments suggests a possibility I didn't consider, Celestia and Luna's parents...
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:11:32 UTC from web-
@colfax I dunno; Cadence looks younger than Celestia and Luna. Her mane doesn't even have the flowy effect
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:13:20 UTC from web-
@tenmihara Could be from a flashback.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:14:40 UTC from web-
@colfax perhaps, but it seems unlikely

@mushi I kinda like the parents in a flashback notion, because I'm hoping as hard as I can that they're not screwing over their own canon.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:20:02 UTC from web -
@mushi Yup, I was thinking about that.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:21:19 UTC from web-
@nerthos i like to think equestria as the world, mut i think a country is good too =(
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:25:31 UTC from web-
@mushi I don't think Equestria is the whole world, since most Equestrians don't know for example, Zebras, as they are from another place.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:28:27 UTC from web-
@nerthos Yeah, but Twilight just said they weren't ponies, never mentioned where they come from by name, so that's really no help.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:31:07 UTC from web-
@colfax They're godlike overlords, that's all that matters. Like the Xel-Naga in Starcraft, or the two dragons to the fire nation in Avatar.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:34:18 UTC from web-
@nerthos The Dragons in the fire nation were still mortal though. There were only two left by the time Aang woke up D=
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:37:25 UTC from web-
@tenmihara Yeah, but they were some kind of ancient lords of firebending. I was just trying to find examples and that's the better thing I could come up with.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:38:31 UTC from web-
@nerthos fair enough

@nerthos is that they never think of lands out of equestria and they say "all of equestria" as if it was "all of the world"
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:31:20 UTC from web-
@mushi They're like US guys sometimes, who call their country something more than it really is.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:35:39 UTC from web-
@nerthos well the new aliconrs look britanics =P

@nerthos That sounds like a good new euphemism for me XD

@mushi Her coat's the color of one of the most disgusting flavours of all icecream, and her mane the likes of wich are over poorly made cakes.

@colfax Celestia and luna are literally deities. And deities can exist without parents, as they are primal forces in a physical form.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:16:28 UTC from web-
@nerthos Tell that to the greeks, and norse, and just about every other pagan pantheon out there...
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:17:33 UTC from web-
@colfax Yes, it's all about what kind of deity they are. Some have parents, others don't.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:20:49 UTC from web-
@nerthos Even Zeus and Odin had parents, of a sort.
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:21:26 UTC from web-
@colfax The Greek Pantheon is hilariously inbred XD Not so sure about the Norse
Thursday, 15-Dec-11 23:23:39 UTC from web -
@colfax "Human" gods usually have families. But nimphkind (as a low tier example) or some domain deities have no parents, as they are a part of the thing they represent from the beginning of time.
