    Why was a homestuck parody the only place I've seen the idea that ponies wouldn't necessarily use base 10 for mathematics suggested? Why would they? They have 4 hooves and no fingers!

      @ceruleanspark Ponies are binary, since they need two legs to stand, they have to use their front hooves for math.

      @ceruleanspark Actually, their clocks do imply they go by a different system. If you check they have 8 ticks in multiple locations. One I can remember is when Rainbow Dash draws one on her hoof in Party of One

        @fallinwinter We don't use base 10 for time either though, so clocks are necessarily representative.
