    1. @shalabajza She means well, Shal.

    2. @shalabajza Just because she means well doesn't mean she'll do well. Life is just as confusing and frightening for her as it is for any of us, and that can make us shortsighted and angry. Her actions, distorted as they may seem, come from her wishing well for you.

    3. @shalabajza Sorry, my friend. I know it's not easy. Anger's totally a natural response, too. Just remember you are not your emotions.

    4. @shalabajza I dunno about deep, but some of it has worked for me, and I hope maybe it can be helpful. I found a lot of this stuff struggling with my own anger, looking for answers that made sense.

    5. @shalabajza I deny your accusation of wisdom, but I am glad I can help. # Where there is solidarity, there is strength.

      1. @patch I like how you write the way the language was meant.

        1. @nerthos Thanks! I am a big ol' word nerd.

          1. @patch Hehe, I am one too, even if I can't show that trait when writing in english.

            1. @nerthos Seem to do fine to me. Better than a lot of native speakers, that's for sure. You seem to have the trick down: just write how you talk! It ain't magic. Not like friendship.

              1. @patch Yes xD the problem is, I barely say 30 words in english a day, But, as always, writing a complex phrase to state something simple, is pretty fun to do.

                1. @nerthos Oh yeah. Playing with language can be a lot of fun. Well, if you don't get a chance to speak much English, when you do--just talk the way you write!

                  1. @patch I need to get used to the pronunciation xD

    6. @shalabajza I take it as a compliment, my friend. If we meet up sometime, you can buy me some beer. I know Serbia's got to have good beer.

    7. @shalabajza @nerthos Ha ha! Thanks! I *am* an English teacher!

Monday, 19-Dec-11 21:50:49 UTC from web
      1. @patch Man, you're the first English teacher I know that actually knows how to speak. At school I always played pranks at them because they didn't know simple things about the language.

        1. @nerthos Me too! Well, did that with a lot of teachers, actually. School...was not the best environment for me.

          1. @patch School is not a good enviroment for anyone but future criminals. School is where I learned to swear, cause serious damage to people, steal (even if I never do it because of moral, I can be pretty good at it) and lots of other bad things.

            1. @nerthos Hey, the Spartans did that, and it worked for them!

Monday, 19-Dec-11 22:05:37 UTC from web
              1. @patch The Spartans did lots of things. I don't think you should try to do those things, though.

                1. @nerthos No, I'm in no kind of physical condition for that sort of thing. Speaking of spartans: Spartan substitute teacher! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cx8BrJIWqMo&feature=related

    8. @shalabajza So, Serbia has good beer. What else is real good Serbian food or drink? And @nerthos, what about Argentinia? Good local food or drink...what is it?

Monday, 19-Dec-11 21:55:58 UTC from web
      1. @patch Good local food? empanadas, but mostly the fried kind, asado, milanesas napolitanas, tortilla Santiagueña, choripan.

Monday, 19-Dec-11 21:58:17 UTC from web
        1. @nerthos I'd put a guy in a headlock to get some empanadas.
