We all made it to Colardo safely. Checked into our lodging yesterday just after noon. We're at an elevation of somewhere over 10,000 ft. And, as a guy who lives most of his life at an elevation of under 150 ft, I feel like a fish out of water to say the least. However, the view is well worth the shortness of breath mixing with the below freezing tempts and the snow capped mountains in the distance under a clear sky - WOW! Im going to practice some sketching of the mountain range while the rest of my family goes skiing. There's a few bars and stores a few blocks from here and, believe it or not, It's College Week here! ^_^ I think that's self explanitory. Well, Im off to start the day.

@purplephish20 What? ^_^ ME! Up to something? I don't know what your talking about. :P The family has planned to do some...whatchacallit....snow mobiling and even a dog sled tour this week. Never tried dog sledding, there's one for the bucket list! I dont plan on skiing, but I'll find other things to do
