An application I'm trying to install won't install due to "Insufficient storage space" there's a Micro SD card with 20GB free plugged into it :/ (using my mum's htc Wildfire S) !techponies !androidbronies

@leonkfox It's talking about the wildfire's internal memory, which is where most android apps attempt to install themselves by default.

@ceruleanspark I guess that would make sense as an explanation, and it's a safe bet these things have pathetic memory in them..still, would have thought it would start using the Micro SD card by default once the internal memory was full.

@leonkfox How can it? What if the app is something that runs at startup or in the background? What if the SD card isn't present?

@ceruleanspark Hmmm...true :/ Still, I know for a fact that some (but not all) applications can be moved to a Micro SD card after being installed. Did it on my Desire Z to make space for apps that could only use the internal memory.

@leonkfox The apps need to be flagged for that by the dev.

@ceruleanspark Makes sense. Well, I'll have to move a few over to free space for this application I'm trying to install.
