@ceruleanspark All the constant copper and iron in Terraria...

@pinhooves That actually tends to be useful later on; since both are used in the summon items for the Hard bosses

@chipperlunaro It's like: "Flawless Ruby? papayas. I need Iron!"

@ceruleanspark You need the melting mod, that lets you melt things like kettles or armor and weapons. Because it doesn't make sense that you have 200kg of iron things in your inventory and you can't craft a sword.also, just raise smithing, and enchant things with absorb health, then sell them, and with the humongous sums you get paid, simply buy ores and ingots.

@nerthos Haha that's what I did. I'm at 80 enchanting and smithing now basically... Too lazy to go the rest of the way

@nerthos I'm just spamming up my smithing skills so I can make dragon/daedric equipment, and iron daggers are hilariously easy to craft.

@ceruleanspark Yeah iron daggers are redic easy to make. I decided to drop all mine into town one day, had a guard yelling at me not to litter. *DAGGERS EVERYWHERE* XD

@ceruleanspark Daedric and dragon equipment= useless. The weapons, yes, you can find a use for them. The armor? just a waste of money. Believe me, just use Ebony. Half the gold spent on materials, it's far more regal and elegant, and you easily get past the 597 armor threshold if you improve it. After 597, all armor rating is useless, since you hit the 80% damage reduction cap. I can literally tank stuff without a shield. Just two Ebony swords+elemental fury, ring of major healt, and gauntlets and necklace of wielding. Bandit leaders die in two hits, and dragons in <4 seconds as soon as they touch ground.

@nerthos I still need to get my smithing to at least 60 to work with ebony gear.

@ceruleanspark Try to buy all smithing enhancing gear you find, and neclkace of haggling. Go to riften, docks, talk with an argonian, from-deepest-fathoms, she will give you a quest and a dwemer lexicon. Do the quest, and you'll be rewarded a perk of permanent +15% faster improving smithing and +20% bonus from dwemer gear. Then use the lover stone to get a total +30% faster smithing, go to the shrine of Zenithar, east of the monument from the ghost lovers (temple of mara) quest, unmarked, you'll find the shrine since it's a ruined stone construction in the middle of the plains. That'll give you 10% better prices for eight hours. Together with a necklace of minor haggling, you'll get a +22%, and with a couple of perks on speech, even 40%. Then craft steel plate armor, just the main piece, (1 iron, 3 steel, 3 leather strips, 1 corundum) and improve it (1 corundum) and sell it. Do that, and you'll be covered in money and smithing skill in no time.
