@leonkfox ASDA have blind bags? If they hadn't fired me in a transphobic way, I'd be all over them D: Here's hoping Tesco get them.

@stereosounds Tesco will do mini singles: Blindbags in different packaging. Problem with that is that they only have 5 ponies available. Try Morrisons?

@rotation Morrisons it is! I've got all the singles available from Tesco now, unfortunately. Mainly because they stocked a four-pack for ages.

@stereosounds I don't know where exactly you are, but if your Morrisons is about the same size as the one on Ferry Road, you should be fine.

@rotation There's a Morrisons large enough to have a proper deli counter just up the road from me, so I'm going to go have a look when I get home tomorrow!

@luna4life Well I'm headed to the Games Workshop that I always go to by bus, so I'll obviously be posting about it a bit later :P (It takes about an hour to get to the shopping center it's based in)

@ceruleanspark I didn't have a problem getting a boxed mini Applejack at Tesco, but the functionality of self-checkouts probably varies by store; some are very quick and convenient, while others are more trouble than they're worth.

@ceruleanspark Maybe, a TINY bit. I wouldn't have thought it was a recognisable difference for the scale thing. And I thought there was an "I'm using my own bag" option to skip that part anyway?

@ecmc1093 The blind bags seem to be too light to work on them properly, making the process take longer than it would be to use a standard checkout, which is what I ended up doing.

@leonkfox Also, don't feel weird about it. I can't think of anyone who would care about someone going through their till with My Little Pony toys, or would really pay attention to someone in a supermarket buying them. If you're older, most people tend to assume you're not buying them for yourself anyway.

@stereosounds Sorry to hear about the deal with Asda (and I hope you don't mind me bringing it up again). Sounds like an "automatically unfair dismissal" to me as it relates to gender discrimination. If so, you would be legally entitled to a tribunal regardless of your length of service.
