@axelgunn I was on the subway the other day and it stopped (mechanical issues). Then, as the conductor was making an apologetic announcement, he got cut off and the PA system started blaring a noise akin to that of a digi-egg hatching. Needless to say all us nerds there made eye contact and started smiling like idiots.

@matt Don't live in Toronto, but must give you props fro playing that game. I used to play it, then stopped when Neo came out because I discriminated against new pokemon. Several DS'es and Pokemon games later, I find myself asking for forgiveness every day.

@matt and that is the example that EVERYONE uses. the previous 4 gens all have their odd balls and things that seem like generally bad ideas, but most are too blinded by nostalgia glasses to see it. like voltorb is a snetient pokeball that somehow puts off electricty and when it evolves it just flips over and has a higher tendency to explode

@matt like i said, to each his own, i think every pokemon deserves his chance and most don't exist for no good reason. although Pachirisu still baffles me, what makes it different enough from ALL THE OTHER ELECTRIC RODENTS to exist, at least Emolga is part flying type

@midnightoil I'm waiting for a Psychic Rock. They may already have a pokemon with that type combo, but I literally want a rock with no visible animal characteristics (no eyes, limbs, etc) that glows purple and attacks things.

@midnightoil Simple. G6 will have a stone evolution for each member of the hitmon- family, Hitmonchan evolves when touching the ice stone turning him into essentially a hitmonchan with a longer skirt, bigger boxing gloves and a pair of ice skates.
