  1. !writers & !writeponies, my first draft for the !eqdaily 300 Word event. http://preview.tinyurl.com/3r2uatl My question is, would you call this "grimdark?" I don't really know...

    1. @scribus I'd call it Grimdark.

    2. @scribus Also, I kinda like the story. Gives a lot of questions, and not a lot of answers, and while some people dislike that kind of thing, I kinda prefer it with a short sketch-story like this.

      1. @retl It's about the only thing I can think to do with 300 words. I'd hit 160 and wasn't even halfway started, let alone halfway done! :p

        1. @scribus x3 I get pretty wordy, so I'd probably a good chunk of words to get my idea down, but I could probably make it self contained if I really really wanted to. I probably wouldn't find it very fun, though. XD

          1. @retl I can be Lovecraftian in my verbosity, but I can pare it down when I need to. My problem is multi-drafting; I've been putting off the 2nd pass for the last hour or so.

            1. @scribus I should get off of my lazy butt and look into this Lovecraftian stuff. I hear about it fairly often from friends who have skills I do not~ Though I'm not sure the familiarity has anything to do with the skillset, it's still making me wonder. XD

              1. @retl Well, considering he was an author, you could stay on your butt whilst looking into it.
