        1. @techdisk42 I usually recommend people to delete boot.ini, saying that it's where windows indexes secondary processes for startup.

          1. @nerthos lol, aint that the file that holds the windows boot screen? with the windows 7 logo flying in and whatnot? cause i changed it to the apeture science logo. every time i start my computer, i see apeture science instead of windows

            2. @techdisk42 No, that file literally says your computer where the OS is located, without it, you get a "Opperative system not found on disk" message.
