        @aldag71 It is unpleasant. It might be useful in a crisis though. In a pinch I prefer my alternative solution: Put my phone in camera mode and hold it close enough that I can see in focus.

            @aldag71 My eyeballs are incompatible. They do not produce sufficient lubricating fluid to prevent the lens from scratching the surface of the eye.
