Listen up everypony. I have to write a 5-10 minute informative persuasive speech for college. Being a bony you can guess what I choose to write it about. I would like some ideas as to why you like MLPFiM other than vague terms such as “It’s awesome” and the “animation is fantastic.” Granted I will use those, but I would like more options as to why people should give My Little Pony a chance. I want to break it down basically what makes it such a great show, and I would like some additional ideas.

@greydragon412 Yeah, the nods towards bronies have become more obvious over the course of the series, but Chocolate rain is one of my favorite references in the show. I wonder how many revisions the scripts go through when some references they try to add are too mature or obscure...

@quilzel I have always like watching cartoons like Jimmy neutron, fairly odd parents, and Spongebob, so me liking cartoons is not new. As for MLP, I had never seen any older episodes or parts of episodes in my life, but I did see all those commercials for the toys. Even as a 4 year old I thought those commercials were overly girly. I started watching FiM very reluctantly due to those bad experiences, but I immediately found that really the only girly thing about it was the colour pink and the fact the mane 6 were female. The main thing about it for me is that it doesn't make itself to be a little girl show, but is more for both genders and any age. Wow. This is likely my longest post that I ever typed every word of.

@quilzel wicked. I want to see this. Make sure to mention Lauren faust's comment about wanting to make something that a kid's parents can watch with their child that doesn't make the parent want to shoot themselves, cause she obviously succeeded!
