@purplephish20 [i]Know Your Enemy[/i], or something along those lines - it's in the 21st Century album - is great to listen to. Still I was mixed about their 'concept album' approach on those albums.

@stecissunrise I love bands trying new things, particularly along the prog/orchestral path. Which is why I now consider Nostradamus to be Priests best album.... not that the internet will agree with me

@ceruleanspark Your going to hate me for this... I saw them live..... I thought they were absolutely terrible... If that was just a bad show then so be it. If you have something GOOD of theirs to reccomend i'll gladly listen to it... but yeah.... one of the worst bands i've ever seen. they opened for ZZ top. who rocked

@scribble @ceruleanspark really? Bad sound mix? well actually in some footage from journey playing earlier in the day theres no piano. so probably the sound guy screwed up throughout the day

@purplephish20 Man, the audio balance here is totally messed up. I mean, this song isn't great to start with, but it sounds like the soundstage has been massively compressed and all the depth is missing.

@ceruleanspark @scribble really? yep.... absolutely terrible. I wanted it to just end. It was at the download festival 2009. so I'd been stood at the front for hours, Journey opened for dream theater. 5 minutes before the DONT STOP BELIEEEVING! craze took off. whitesnake were on after zz top, then Def leppard headlined.... magnificent

@purplephish20 Try Coppelius or Van Canto, I doubt they have international fame but they do try something unusual. Both are more or less metal, though.
