I just saw an article on how Mass Effect 3 will be featuring same sex romances including both male and female relationships and the amount of hate in the comments is unbelievable. In a country founded on the principles that everyone is free and equal we certainly don't show it. Tyler Clementi, age 18, Billy Lucas, age 15, Harrison Chase Brown, age 15, Cody J. Barker, age 17, Seth Walsh, age 13, all commited suicide within three weeks of each other because of incessant bullying and intimidation from their classmates and community. They lost all faith in the dream of being excepted by the public and the world and I can see why. I want to make it stop. I want them to have hopep

@abigpony Earlier this year I found out that a kid in the high school I graduated from killed himself due to bullying and his story was never shown on the news so it just shows that it happens a lot more than people think I had 2 kids in my high school class transfer schools because they had been jumped multiple times outside of school because they were gay and the school did nothing never even punished the kids so just because the news doesn't report on it it's still a huge problem the navy had to stop allowing same sex marriages because of a threat from over 50 congressman so it's hasn't gotten to much better the hate is still there strong as ever
