    I am putting this out there, but not for attention. exactly one year ago, my school went into lockdown due to a student threatening another group for tormenting him on the bus. Thankfully, nothing happened, but what school did was right. They shut down the building and allowed the police to do their thing, which lasted about a hour and a half. Even though I hate the school for most of their decisions, I will always applaud them when it comes to events like what happened yesterday.

            @purplephish20 It's what I'm saying. They're not THAT scary though. They could kill you fairly easily, sure, but so could a bar of iron through the skull.

                @purplephish20 In fact, a sword could kill you with far less pain than a gun. It causes more damage, and I'm sure I can be far more intimidating with a sword. A gun makes the other guy fear the tool. A sword makes the guy fear the one weilding it.

                  @nerthos that is an excelant point. any old skinny worthless coward can hold a gun up at someone, but it takes a minimum grapes size requirement to aim a sword at someone. not a knife though, we have pathetic knife wielding thugs here in britain. knife crime is the worst thing we have

                    @purplephish20 That's exactly why I would make killing a person with a gun a crime punishable by torture followed by death. They should be used to kill filth, criminals or enemies, not people. With a close combat weapon you need the resolution and "guts" to put it that way, to risk your well being.
