  1. @twispark My my, aren't we getting rude? Most people who are in the business of computer science make the same thing: make sure that their progrms are hard to repair by others to secure their job. M$ did exactly what a corporation is supposed to do: it tried to earn as much profit as possible. If you don't like this, you don't like free markets because this is how they go.

    1. @hakupony Lol I'm not saying they didn't, they did what they had to, doesn't mean it was good or right or the overall effects have been graaand. They cling to the IBM ways even when their position is so so secure and such :P

      1. @twispark The position of a manager is not sure and managers get in trouble if they don't deliver on the expectations. That's why I'm a friend of freeware: they don't need to make you addicted :P

        1. @hakupony *eartwitch* Freeware and Free Software are quite different, the former can be proprietary just without monetary costs, Free Software is open-source with liberal licenses and such :3

    2. @hakupony Also not rude, MS is anticompetitive and much more if you look into it, they did what a company 'had to' but also more and that doesnt justify anything. butyh, i dont want to keep going on about it, people dont like them for a reason :P
