   I made this piece for a friend (who is a martial instructor from Japan) since he liked my impromptu poetry on this site - A man who knows it all / though "all" occupies so little space in my dictionary / yet no appraiser can value this man / for he proves his worth with each stroke / an occasion may rise to challenge him / but such occasions must first bear witness to his methods in conflict / lord give these occasions knees so we may see them tremble! /"Come all who dare," he cries, / I say "I dare to be your friend!" / winds pass on to me his thought spoken in verdict though not word or motion / "Challenge accepted."
