      1. @starshine I'm not so sure the warranty would cover this. If I even have one! @acceleratinguniverse Thank you! I'm guessing repairs should be fun. Hey, I guess it could be worse. Wasn't the world supposed to end today?

        1. @celestiaforequestria Eek. The shop my old (film) camera came from offered a five-year no-questions-asked warranty, as long as you brought the camera in and it was somewhat recognizable as a camera. They had all sorts of horror stories of people dropping their cameras in lakes and crushing them with their cars and stuff.

          1. @starshine That's awesome! ...dropped in lakes, crushed by cars... Compared to those examples my camera seems alright. Heck, maybe the thing needs a good drop in a lake! #

            1. @celestiaforequestria I think the best (if you can call it that) story that they told me is someone whose very young child had gotten hold of his camera and decided it would be a great idea to open it up, pull out the film, remove the lens, and then fill the entire body of the camera with peanut butter.

    2. @celestiaforequestria Not in this particular situation, but I feel your pain. I've worked on writing songs for hours on end, and have the MIDI sheet music saved on my computer, then all of the sudden the file gets corrupt. D: It's the worst feeling. Although I hope you can get your camera repaired at least at a decent price. D:
