  1. Anyway, I borrowed elder scrolls oblivion of my mate today, made a choice between that and fallout new Vegas, never played an elder scrolls game but I bloody loved fallout 3, so I decided I needed to try the best of both worlds instead of another fallout game... Oblivion any good?

    1. @purplephish20 As a Fallout fan I find TES pretty dull actually.

      1. @ceruleanspark Hmm... Yeah well fallout 3 was legendary... I decided I needed to top playing it after clicking in near to 250 hours of play time...

    3. @purplephish20 Oblivion is my personal favorite TES game, so yes, it is. It's one of my favorite games of all time.

      1. @rarity What's better on it than Skyrim?

        1. @hakupony Oh, you do /not/ want to get me started on that topic. In short, I feel like Skyrim didn't feel like a TES game, it felt like Fallout: Medieval to me.

          1. @rarity you say medieval fallout like it's a bad thing.

          2. @rarity I like fantasy games but never got really into TES - maybe this is why Skyrim is the best of them for me :)

    7. @conventrix I feel like Oblivion was the perfect balance for a gamer like me. There were tons of options, but not too many.

    8. @conventrix I can understand why some people would prefer Morrowind, though. It's great for hardcore players.

    9. @conventrix I also feel that the Oblivion world had the most sense of completeness to it, as in, every inch of it was full of gameplay.

    10. @conventrix I wasn't saying Morrowind didn't, in fact I was comparing to Skyrim with that statement xP I honestly didn't play all the way through Morrowind.

    11. @purplephish20 # Oblivion is REALLY good. If you can stand the faces, then you'll love it. It's the best TES to get started, since it's simpler than the three first one, more noob friendly, but not as outrageously mutilated for the general public like Skyrim. One hint, though: Don't max spell reflection for the last boss, you'l regret it. He'll simply cast something at you and die.
