@oracle Also my machines are compatible, because I bought it.
-
@oracle Ew, a proprietary software company's tablet.
-
@rainbowdashdc that's pretty much everyone on some level
-
@oracle i use linux 70% of the time :/
-
@oracle Nah, I just don't like MS. xD I do only use Linux though.
-
@ryanjjjj I avoid proprietary software when I can. I learned off of others src code, and that's how it should be too me.
-
@oracle :x this. statement isn't entirely accurate...
-
@oracle Linux can do everything, most compilers run out-of-the-box on Linux (well, ok, Debian since we're not just talking about the kernel). It can support pretty much all old hardware, it came with 64-bit before every other OS. Alot of things.
-
@oracle well for one there ARE good android tablets, but there is alot of saturated fat on the market. Apple's ipads are frustrating but i can see practical use on some of its application/ hardware reliability. as for linux, you CAN actually run anything on it using either windows emulation or community workaround. what is really niche about the OS is its UNIX background making it a very reliable OS compared to some of the issues windows or mac might run into.
-
@oracle XD thats halarious
-
@oracle WINE.
-
@oracle Odd place for it too say I am.
-
@oracle yeah linux is one of those /enthusiast/ things, but it is used quite often in IT. so i at least see alot of it, like i said though nothing is perfect/ for everyone. its DEFINITELY not as user friendly as other OS
-
@oracle Yes, I know. But it works.
-
@oracle lets leave fluffle puff out of this :c, im not trying to make it seem like we're ganging up on you. im just defending some its function is all.
-
@oracle I use Linux for httpd, mysqld, bash, D and other programming languages. I also love KATE (the editor). That's what I use it for, and I love it. Might be the fact that I adapted too it really easily and love the File System Structure.
-
@rainbowdashdc those are scripting languages, any OOL ?
-
@rainbowdashdc also file structure is KICK PAPAYA! : D
-
@ryanjjjj D is...
-
@rainbowdashdc oh, i didn't notice D my bad, what functions you write?
-
@oracle LUA's a joke. It's slow.
-
@ryanjjjj I don't really use it, I like D but havn't needed too use it :P
-
@rainbowdashdc aw shame, i was hoping to get some feed back :c
-
@ryanjjjj I do plan too start using it again soon, a friend of mine are going to get together and start a super-secret-project relating too the fandom c: After I finish my RPG that is cx
-
@rainbowdashdc :o how close to completion? and iv learned alot of bash and am fluent in xhtml, (some)php, postGRE, c, c++, java and (useless)c# lol
-
@oracle First of all, criticizing my AVI has nothing too do with /me/ as a person. Second of all, since you seem too care soooo much about it, it was a joke 11 months ago of me criticizing them. It's my choice too do what I please with my settings, I'm sorry if you're offended by my own personal decisions.
-
@ryanjjjj the RPG is coded in Bash because I love Bash to be honest. It was the first 'language' I learned. http://ur1.ca/g67uf is the source of it c: It's *kinda* close too done.
-
@rainbowdashdc oh you have made a dosbox port?
-
@ryanjjjj Working on it. Pretty hard.
-
@oracle Then feel free too make those reference, just don't expect me too not say anything for the ridiculousness of those statements. Also, if you've ever used a social media site; besides this, (e.g Twitter) AVI refers too a profile picture.
-
@oracle Even Acronyms, have multiple meanings, Do they not?
-
@oracle I'm writing this message from Debian GNU/Linux. I don't have any other kinds of OS ;-).
