hearing stories about how people on the countryside prepared #pistachios: for filling a sack with #25kg they roughly needed 1 day and received 2 Turkish lira back then (for which you could buy about 1day's worth of food)

but if the sack didn't contain 25kg they didn't receive anything :-( that's what happens when neighbours suddenly pop up and offer to #help you (and leave with the pistachios later in their pockets) cc @question
