@snowcone in a similar line of thinking, a villain's gender was changed in one of the earlier seasons to avoid depicting another homosexual relationship. Also, a whole season missed localization because of gender issues: the state-side producers didn't want transgender/cross-dressing villains and were just planning to dub them as pretty boys, but these villains happened to be like the sailor scouts and the creator of the show/manga said something along the lines of "all sailor senshi must be female" or something, plus that season was overtly sexual anyway from what I heard

I'm sort of excited for today's episode, but what we REALLY need is a twilight-rarity episode or another dash-jack episode

@snowcone hells yes, though I anticipate that it won't be as enjoyable as last week (which is weird because I normally loathe Applebllom episodes, but last week was a big exception)

@snowcone it still surprises me that two of the sailor scouts (not the original 5) were supposed to be a couple but for American audiences they re-wrote their lines to make them cousins. They hardly share any lines with their original counterparts
